Here’s some of the interior illustrations I drew for the latest Darren Shan Zom-B book, Zom-B Angels, recently published in the UK and Ireland by Simon & Shuster and coming out on July 9th in the US and beyond. I thought I’d also include an example of a rough pencilled version next to the final inked one to give you that extra ‘spesh’ behind the scenes tour. Brains anyone?!

Hi warren i was wondering if you could add more comparisons of your rough sketches to final image as i find seeing the rough images help me realise how you dont have to add every bit of detail perfect until your fina image.

I’ll probably post some more of these in the near future. I think the key is being confident in your own drawing skills and not overworking pencil roughs.
